I am a highly experienced Licensed Professional Counselor with over 22 years of expertise in mental health and substance abuse treatment. Holding a
bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia College and State University and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Fort Valley State
University, I bring a comprehensive educational background to my practice.
Throughout my career, I've contributed my skills in various settings, including community mental health centers, prisons, jails, and mental hospitals.
My commitment extends beyond my professional practice, as I loved volunteered with counseling, hospice, Salvation Army, and food banks, reflecting my dedication to community well-being. I have significant experience in creating a safe and non-judgmental space to facilitate personal change, insight, and healing.
Drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI), I empower clients to explore the impact of
thoughts, feelings, and actions on their environment, fostering personal safety and fulfillment.My therapeutic style is approachable, humorous, and
