Hi, I’m Dianna, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey. From a very young age, I knew that people deserved kindness, safety, and the ability to choose a healthier path for themselves. This deep understanding led me to pursue a career in therapy, earning my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Northern Arizona University and my Master’s in Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arizona. I have always been drawn to supporting others through life’s challenges, helping them break free from past wounds that create conflict in their present lives.
In my practice, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trauma-healing techniques to help clients process painful memories that may still be affecting them. Trauma can shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us, but it doesn’t have to define us. Through EMDR, we can reprocess distressing experiences, allowing you to move forward with greater clarity and peace. I also incorporate reframing techniques to help shift negative thought patterns, empowering you to see situations from new perspectives that foster healing and self-growth.
Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my approach. I believe in deeply listening and creating a space where you feel truly heard and understood. Even when we don’t have all the answers, we can work together to identify what is within your control, helping you find relief from emotional pain and create meaningful changes in your life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, past trauma, or relationship challenges, I am here to support you with compassion, insight, and evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy walking for both exercise and stress relief, and I’m exploring my love for hiking. Just as every trail has its challenges and rewards, the healing journey can feel difficult at times—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and self-discovery, I would be honored to be part of your journey. Let’s work together to help you reclaim your life and move toward the peace and fulfillment you deserve.
