About Jaclyn K

Home About Jaclyn K

Hello, I’m Jackie Kimmel, and Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona.

I’m a passionate advocate for your well-being and a devoted guide on your path to healing.

Fueling my journey is a passion for unleashing the transformative power of counseling. Originating from a background in Studio Arts at The University of Arizona, I immersed myself in the world of aiding others by volunteering as a mentor to teens in a local residential treatment center. It was here that my calling became clear, propelling me into the profound realm of mental health.

In 2012, I interned an intensive outpatient program for adults with co-occurring mental health issues. Fast forward to 2013, and I received my Masters in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Expressive Art Therapy from Ottawa University. The subsequent five years post-graduation, I worked directly with children and their families in an outpatient behavioral health organization.

My expertise lies in offering not just support, but unwavering compassion and effectiveness for those navigating trauma, narcissistic abuse, ADHD, depression, anxiety, anger management, grief, relationship issues, and women’s issues. I extend my focus to adults and adolescents, fostering a secure haven for growth and healing.

Grounded in evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, and DBT, I craft tailored therapeutic interventions that uniquely address the individual needs of each person. My toolkit also includes distinctive modalities such as sand tray play therapy and expressive art therapy, unlocking creativity to facilitate profound healing.

With a client-centered approach, I aspire to create more than just a therapeutic environment; I aim to cultivate a safe, empathetic space for you to explore, grow, and not just survive but thrive. Together, let’s embark on a passionate journey of healing and resilience, where your well-being takes center stage.
