Hello, I’m Taucha Buller and I am a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker (LMSW).
I strive to help my clients create a life filled with mindfulness and appreciation for the present moment. I connect well with clients that are open to the idea of truly living in the moment and am drawn to the idea of helping people overcome feelings of shame, forming secure attachments, and learning to regulate their emotions for a happier life.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Arizona State University and a Master of Social Work at Middlesex University in London, England. I use a comprehensive approach in my work. I try to see the world from my clients’ perspective by understanding their behavior, emotions, cognitions, and any societal discourse contributing to their problems. By following this model, I am able to support my clients’ work towards their desired outcome by creating a new narrative which changes the way they feel and act.
In my free time, I’m an avid traveler and my goal is to visit every country. I have found that traveling provides me with immense appreciation for people and the beauty of our planet. I learn more about myself and human beings when I get out of my comfort zone and into the world. I feel that understanding many cultures and behaviors makes me a better therapist and improve my approach to each client and their specific cultural/personal needs.
